For the first time in 15 years the Thursday Women’s Club Team won the Low Net award out of 10 other teams in North Bay Team Play! All rounds were Match Play starting in April and ending in August against teams at the following courses: Green Valley, Silverado, Napa, Sonoma, Fountaingrove, Stonetree, Marin, Meadow, Richmond, and our own VOM. Team members were Captain Sue Clark, June Stephens, Mattie Rice, Kim Agrella, Kathy Mocricky, Joy Bellomo, Penny Wright, Kathy Faherty, and Chris Carter. The Gross award was won by Richmond, but the VOM team was 4th in Gross out of the 10 teams! A great finish for this team and a big morale booster heading into 2022.
The team now travels to Cinnabar Golf Club in San Jose on September 27 for the overall Championship round. Other Net winners are Crystal Springs, La Rinconada, North Ridge, and Diablo. This round will be Stroke Play – 1 net best ball of partners.
Join the Women’s Golf Club at Valley of the Moon and be a part of the team in 2022!
