Fire Safety Resources

Oakmont is a recognized Firewise USA Community. The OVA Firewise Landscape Policy educates members on creating defensible space in the zero to five-foot zone around their homes in 2021. The policy also addresses requirements in the five to 30-foot area of properties in 2022. The resources on this page also provide valuable information from the Santa Rosa Fire Department and other local and regional fire safety organizations, including several and presentations on specific topics.
