The West Rec Center pool and spa is currently closed for routine maintenance work that was scheduled as part of OVA’s Reserve Study. The project included resurfacing the pool and spa, ADA-compliant stair reconfiguration, new handrails, and updated coping. The work recently passed the health inspection and building inspection, and is now waiting on the final release before it can open. We have not received a schedule for when this will take place, but anticipate the pool and spa will open in mid-July.
During the closure, residents are welcome to use the pools at the Central Activities Center and the East Rec Center. Water Fitness classes have been relocated to the Central pool for the duration of the project.
