What is SIR Branch 92?
SIR (Sons in Retirement) is a non-profit, public benefit corporation formed initially for men. SIR 92 has as its Mission to lead the way forward to enable women to join and to improve the lives of our members through fun activities and events while making Friends for Life! SIR is a term we use to collectively refer to our parent 501(c)(4) corporation, Sons In Retirement, Incorporated, established in 1959 (referred to as the State Organization) and 100+ purposefully independent 501(c)(4) corporations referred to as Branches.
Our member expectations are to participate in our luncheons and activities, volunteer to leadership roles, assist in our worthy cause(s) and introduce others to SIR. Membership is open to all regardless of age, race, color or religion. We are an all-volunteer organization, so our members need to help out when called upon. SIR 92 supports food drives of the Redwood Empire Food Bank and is Food Barrels within Oakmont. We prohibit discussions of politics and religion, soliciting or selling anything to any member. For member information contact our Fred Merrill, Big Sir #92. Fred_merill2@hotmail.com. Visit our website: Seniors in Retirement | SIR92 Oakmont | Santa Rosa
