Oakmont offers several ways for members to stay informed and communicate with leadership. Here’s a quick overview to help clarify the difference between commonly used communication channels:
1. AskOVA Email (askova@oakmontvillage.com)
- Purpose: A central inbox for general comments, questions, or concerns about OVA operations.
- Who Receives It: Staff monitor this inbox. If your message is relevant for the Board’s awareness, staff will:
- Summarize your input
- Include it in Board packets or reports
- Follow up with you directly when appropriate
- Note: This is not a direct line to the Board of Directors.
2. Emailing Board Members Directly
- If you want to ensure your message goes straight to the Board without going through staff first, please use Board members’ direct emails. You can find their contact info at oakmontvillage.com/board.
3. Official Communications
To stay updated on what’s happening in Oakmont, we encourage members to follow these official publications:
- Inside Oakmont: Delivered every Wednesday by email, featuring timely updates, meeting info, and reminders.
- Oakmont News: Our printed newsletter, published on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays each month, with in-depth articles, Board and committee updates, and event coverage.
These are the official communications channels of OVA and are the best way to stay informed about community news and decisions.
