OVA will support this arrangement by:
- Designated Board Liaison: OVA will assign a designated Board liaison to attend LOMAA Board meetings regularly.
- Dedicated Webpage: OVA will host and maintain a dedicated LOMAA webpage within the OVA website at oakmontvillage.com/lomaa.
- Master Community Membership: OVA will maintain a Master Community Membership in the Education for California Homeowners (ECHO), which may include access for LOMAA and its members.
- Accessibility of Governing Documents: OVA will collect and make readily available the governing documents of all OVA Sub-Associations.
- No Financial Commitments: OVA has no financial commitments to LOMAA.
LOMAA is equally committed to the success of this arrangement by:
- Timely Notice of Meetings: LOMAA will provide the OVA liaison with timely notice of meetings and relevant agenda materials.
- Webpage Content: LOMAA will supply current and accurate content for the LOMAA webpage on the OVA website in a timely manner.
- Quarterly Updates: The LOMAA Board President will present a quarterly update to the OVA Board, summarizing the overall health and current challenges of Oakmont’s Sub-Associations.
- Educational Activities: LOMAA will arrange and coordinate all educational activities for OVA Sub-Associations.
- Roster of Board Members: LOMAA will create and maintain a current roster of the OVA Sub-Association Board Members and share it with OVA as necessary.
- Review and Approval of Amendments: LOMAA will provide OVA with review and approval of any amendments to the Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions (CCRs) for the Sub- Associations.
This arrangement between OVA and LOMAA represents a step forward in fostering a strong and cohesive community. By working together, both organizations aim to enhance the quality of life for all members of Oakmont’s Sub-Associations.
