The purpose of the Firewise Resource Committee is to become recognized as providing reliable resources that effectively helps Oakmont residents lessen the loss of life and property from wildfire. Activities include, but are not limited to, educating the community on Firewise USA Community best practices involving home hardening, defensible space, vegetation management, and other mitigation strategies.
