Kiwanis gives $1,000 to YWCA to help house abused wives and children.
Kiwanians work closely with children and must follow strict guidelines to prevent abuse.

Oakmont has over 170 clubs, but the Kiwanis Club is an Oakmont Club where you can have fun, meet others and help support children.
Kiwanis Club of Oakmont meets Thursday for breakfast followed by a service project.
