Steve Spanier

Steve was President of the Oakmont Village Association Board of Directors from April 2018 till November 2020 when he resigned for family reasons. He has served on a number of Oakmont club boards over the eight years he and his wife Elaine Booth have lived in Oakmont.

Steve’s working career spanned decades working for public- and private-sector high technology companies including the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Sun Microsystems and Cisco Systems. Since retiring, Steve has held a variety of volunteer jobs. Working to forward various progressive causes, he has run a non-profit, hosted a radio show and taught at the Osher Lifelong Learning programs of both University of California Irvine and Cal State Fullerton.
