The 2nd Carnitas & Margaritas event was even more successful than the first. The Kiwanis of Oakmont Club had great success fundraising, and great food and drinks we enjoyed by all.

Kiwanis Club of Oakmont presents Carnitas & Margaritas!
Saturday, August 13, at 5 PM in the Berger Center – Cost: $30 per ticket
Cost includes one margarita.
Silent auction prizes available.
Summertime is a lovely time to eat outdoors and the Berger Center has lovely patios for that purpose. The Carnitas and Margaritas will be indoors and outdoors seating. To provide some fun, there will be a silent auction of many items donated by local businesses and wineries. There is also a chance to bid on a 3 night stay at beautiful Serene Lakes, in historical Donner Summit, 13 miles above Truckee and Donner Lake. All money made at this event goes to support scholarships, schools and groups working to benefit children. Kiwanis thanks the Oakmont community for helping us achieve our goal of making lasting differences in the lives of children.
