How to Change/Reset your OakmontVillage.com Password

You may change a password due to it being lost/forgotten, stolen, or for general security maintenance.

This article demonstrates how to change your password on this website, OakmontVillage.com.

The main login page for this website is https://oakmontvillage.com/login, but you will be presented with a login form on any page requiring a password whilst logged out.

Step 1: Click Forgot Password Link

To reset your password, click the Forgot Password link beneath any login form on the website. This will take you to the Request a Password Reset page.


Step 2: On the Request a Password Reset page…

  1. Enter your email address
  2. Then click the Request Password Reset button

Within about 1 – 10 minutes after entering your email address and clicking the Request Password Reset button, you will receive an email from web@oakmontvillage.com containing a special link. This link is unique to you, it will expire if not utilized within about 10 minutes, and it should not be shared with anyone else.


Step 3: Click Link in Special Email

Open the email from web@oakmontvillage.com with subject line “[Oakmont Village] Password Reset” and then click the special link inside of that email.

The special link will take you to the Enter your new password form.


Step 4: On the Enter a new password form…

  1. Enter a new password into the form two times.
    The form asks for your password twice to prevent typos.
  2. After entering your new password two times, click the Update Password button.

After clicking the Update Password button, you will be automatically logged onto the website and redirected to the Members Dashboard (oakmontvillage.com/members).
