Two well-attended sessions at the Berger Center introduced Oakmont residents to the fast-evolving world of artificial intelligence. A lecture held on October 24 featured AI specialist Cathy Balach, who offered a clear overview of what AI can do today, where it falls short, and how it is already influencing everyday life.

A follow-up hands-on class took place on October 31, giving participants the chance to explore AI tools directly and build confidence using this emerging technology.

The programs were presented by the Oakmont Technology Learning Center, supported by a grant from the Oakmont Community Foundation, with assistance from the Oakmont Sunday Symposium.
