Join ‘Map Your Neighborhood’ and guest speakers Paul Lowenthal, Santa Rosa Division Chief – Fire Marshal, and Neil Bregman, Emergency Preparedness Manager for the city of Santa Rosa, on Thursday Feb 23 at 11:00 a.m. in the West Rec.
Post Note: Neil Bregman was unable to make this event, and Brittany Miller, Deputy Emergency Preparedness Coordinator at City of Santa Rosa, spoke with Lowenthal, instead.
Neil and Paul will be talking about earthquake planning and preparedness, and emergency plans and operational protocols that the city and county have both worked to develop.

The Map Your Neighborhood team holds monthly meetings on the 4th Thursday of every month to share valuable information for preparing for emergencies, such as fire and earthquake. Guest speakers are often invited to offer more in-depth thoughts on preparing neighborhoods or communities. Meetings are from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., and locations may change.
Note: Julie Atwood from the Halter Project will be our guest speaker on March 23, speaking about pet preparedness and evacuation.
