NOAA Transmitter on Sonoma Mountain is Down

NOAA Radio Midland

The Oakmont Emergency Preparedness Committee (OEPC) has been receiving calls about NOAA radios not working. The NOAA transmitter on Sonoma Mountain has failed, which means that there is no signal for the NOAA emergency alert radios. Repairs to the transmitter are in process, but until they complete we will not be getting NOAA radio alerts. Resident radios are fine, we just need to wait until the NOAA transmitter is back online.
