Thank you all for the warm welcome and kind words during my first month in this new and exciting role at Valley of the Moon Club. I have been busy familiarizing myself with this wonderful facility and our two beautiful golf courses. We have a lot of exciting changes planned for next year and I am looking forward to sharing that excitement with each one of you! Our core team of managers and staff members will continue to work together as we look toward 2021 and beyond.
Needless to say, 2020 has been a challenging year as we’ve all tried to navigate these changes brought about by this pandemic. The health and safety of our staff and clientele is our top priority. We continue to evaluate our safety protocols for both employees and guests. Use of hand sanitizer and wearing your mask properly are just a couple of steps you can take to help us provide a safe environment for all.
Our golf shop construction is nearly complete. Safety guidelines for retail will dictate when the golf shop will be fully stocked with merchandise. However, we have already reached out to our vendors and have a plan in place to ensure plenty of inventory is available when the time comes. In the meantime, please check in with the golf shop staff if there is anything you may need, and we’ll do our best to help.
The restaurant construction plan is moving along and with each step it looks better and better. A big thanks to the design team for the great work on the fixtures, colors, shades and so much more. We do have a few big steps to take with the restaurant before we can request a Health Department check and permit. Every day we are making progress with the physical building, vendor connections and installations. Our plan is to open the snack bar window and beverage cart in January 2021. The entire plan hinges on the building and liquor license being completed and continued compliance with COVID-19 guidelines.

Pre-Order ToGo Dinner: Thursday -Saturday (5:00 PM pick up)
Beverage Cart: Seven (7) days a week.
PHASE 2: (Dependent on COVID-19 Color Tier)
Snack Bar Window: 7:00 AM-3:00 PM – Seven (7) days a week (To be adjusted as needed)
Restaurant: Lunch & Dinner 11:00-8:00 PM, Happy Hour 4:00 PM-6:00 PM

Our tentative plan is to hire our F&B director when we enter Phase two and Event Sales staff in June. Again, this hinges on COVID-19 protocols and we will adjust as needed. If a vaccine comes out and we can fast track some of the plan we will happily jump on it. I am so looking forward to meeting you all with masks and then without so I can recognize faces instead of haircuts!
