Starting with the 2026 Board of Directors election, Oakmont Village Association will provide members (homeowners of record, including Oakmont Gardens residents) with the option to vote electronically as an alternative to the traditional paper ballot. Just like with paper ballots, electronic voting is limited to one vote per residential unit or one vote per unit at Oakmont Gardens.
Electronic voting will be conducted through a secure, third-party system managed by OVA’s Inspector of Elections, Pro Elections, in full compliance with California Civil Code.
Participation in electronic voting is completely voluntary. Members who wish to vote electronically must first complete and return the Electronic Voting Consent Form. This ensures that the Association has your authorization to send ballots and election materials to your designated email address.
Paper ballots will continue to be available for members who do not opt in to electronic voting. If you do not complete and return the Electronic Voting Consent Form, you will continue to receive a traditional paper ballot by mail.
Electronic voting offers several benefits, including convenience, security, and timely delivery of election materials.
Note: Members need only opt in once.
